Tottenham Hotspur are growing increasingly confident of signing Djed Spence, according to a report from the Daily Express. The ‘unbelievable‘ right-back could cost around £15 million.

Newcastle United have asked for information on Alvaro Morata. Calciomercato.It reports that the Magpies are battling Juventus and Arsenal for the 29-year-old. Atletico Madrid want around £25 million for the Spaniard.

Liverpool are ready to make a move for Manchester City target Kalvin Phillips with the Reds looking set to miss out on Aurelien Tchouameni, the Sunday Mirror (5/6; page 73) reports. Tchouameni looks to be on the verge of moving to Real Madrid this summer.

Arsenal are prepared to hand Gabriel Jesus a massive pay-rise to tempt the Manchester City star to move to the Emirates. The Sun reports that his £110,000-a-week wages could rise to £190,000-a-week by moving to North London this summer.

Transfer latest: Raphinha, Rangers, and Ruddy news

Barcelona director Mateu Alemany will travel to Leeds for talks over a potential deal for Raphinha, according to Sport. Barca do not want to pay more than £34.3 million, while Leeds want £56 million for the Brazilian.

Rangers are looking to sign Josh Tymon, but may need to sell Borna Barisic first to fund a deal for the £5 million-rated Stoke City left-back, The Sun on Sunday (5/6; page 65) reports.

Sunderland boss Alex Neil is considering a move to sign John Ruddy following his release by Wolves, according to the Sunday Mirror (5/6; page 69). Ruddy previously played under Neil during his time at Norwich City.

And finally, Newcastle will have to break their transfer record if they hope to sign Nathan Ake. The Sun reports that Manchester City will consider selling the Dutchman this summer, but they want £50 million before they let him go.
